Dear PC members
This week has proven very productive and thanks to you, I have been able to significantly shorten our todo list. The latest version of the programme at https://portal.nordu.net/spaces/NDN2026/pages/294715428/Sessions shows a mostly yellow page which signifies that the session is complete at least to the point where we have all speakers confirmed, which is right now the most important. We still have a few items which needs setteling,
Josva:
- Quantum and T&F: Follow up with Inder on last speaker, if unsuccessful drop the 3rd (the other two presentations are two speaker presentations).
- Sustainability: Get name of speaker on sustainability and software. We have commitment, just don’t know who from the group will come
Bruno:
- Digital twins: Keep hunting down potential speaker from DE-IX
Jonny:
- The community we serve: Contact speaker from Royal SE Lib to talk about “whisper collaboration”
- Lightning talks: Contact speakers from Karlstad and tell them that we unfortunately only had a slot for them in the LT session.
Have a pleasent weekend,
Josva

Dear programme committee
Our todo list continues to shrink and we are really down to the last few bits and pieces - if your name is not on the list, just sit back and enjoy that you have done your deal for now. And some of the things may already have happened, if so, please let Susanne and me know.
For those who worry about the state speaker registration, check out our portal page - Susanne keeps it updated as things happen.
Licia:
- Find the last speaker for the Enabling Access Session to talk about enabling access for EOSC and EuroHPC
- Contact speaker from University Alliance for presenting in the Educational Interop Session
Anne Sofie:
- Inform Bo Bai that we are in the happy situation that our programme is full, which means that we unfortunately only can offer him a lightning talk
Ingimar
- Invite Gudmundur to join the happy gang at the Future of NRENs panel
Jonny:
- Follow up on a speaker from the Royal SE Lib to present in The Community we Serve Session
- Inform Hossein and Jörg from Karlstad that we are in the happy situation that our programme is full, which means that we unfortunately only can offer them a lightning talk
Josva:
- Contact Inder and ask if he is made progress on finding a speaker on quantum networks. If he hasn’t, we will instead have two long presentation in the T&F + Quantum session (the two presentations are two person presentations each).
- Ask Stefan Schmidt about presenting in the digital twins session. If he fails the ball goes back to Bruno which has yet another idea.
Cheers,
Josva

Dear Programme Committee
Jonny and I did our weekly walkover of the status on the conference programme. We are happy to report that progress towards a final programme continues, but there are still some bits and pieces missing here and there.
I have added a page for lightning talks (https://portal.nordu.net/spaces/NDN2026/pages/328368130/Lightning+Talks) and I suggest we keep track of them there when they come in.
Susanne:
- What is the status regarding registration of the speakers that we have confirmed? It seems that some of our speakers are getting back to the person who invited them asking about registration. I can see you have made additions to the session pages, so actually all the information may be available there.
Licia:
- Find the last speaker for the Enabling Access Session to talk about enabling access for EOSC and EuroHPC
- Contact speaker from University Alliance for presenting in the Educational Interop Session
Bruno:
- Follow up on the possibility of persuading Neha Manjunath to present
Anne Sofie:
- Follow up on the possibility of having Jeanette Nilsson to present in the Data Demands Session
- Contact Bent Thomsen and see if he or one of his colleagues are willing and able to come and present at the Sustainability session about energy considerations when writing code.
- Contact Martin regarding his participation in The Future of NRENs panel
All the best,
Josva
