Dear Programme Committee
I have been over the programme and double checked what I think is currently missing and created a list grouped by person. We don’t have a lot of big outstanding items and some of them just need time.
I will not be joining you today, and most likely Susanne will also be occupied. As the wiki is now read only for the rest of you, make sure to have a note taker and mail any updates to Susanne and me.
I think there are two major items to consider for your call. 1) Licia has discovered that there is an EOSC federation meeting at the week of the conference and is investigating what that means to us. 2) Listed as ALL. We should decide on who do what on the Panel: The future of NRENs. I am willing to take that task, but we should agree first.
And here home the total list
Outstanding items per person:
Bruno - Network Arch to support AI: Verda speakererName etc missing - Digital Twins: Poll Alexander Krentsel
Jonny - Campus Networks: Speaker from a Swedish University to talk about experiences be identified - Educational interop: Help Vegard find Ladok speaker - The community we serve: Identify speaker from Royal SE Lib to talk about the collab on SE language model for transcription
Josva: - Q and T&F: Poll Inder for potential speaker on quantum communication (done 260512) - Stakeholder mgmt: Poll Jacob Steen (done 260512)
Licia: - Several sessions: Clarify what the fallout is of the EOSC federation meeting that is apparently scheduled for the week of the conference is. - Enabling Access: Clarify who will step in instead of Esther Makaay or if she will present herself - Educational interop: Help Vegard identify speaker from a university alliance, preferably from Luleå - Data demands: Identify speaker on the topic of data in relation to AI factories together with Anne Sofie - The community we serve: Poll Peter Szegedi (related to 1st item)
Kristina - How AI is changing edu: Identify actual speaker on EST secondary schools and AI
Vegard: - Educational interop: Find speaker from Ladok, ask Jonny for help if needed - Educational interop: Together with Licia identify speaker from a university alliance, preferably from Luleå
Anne Sofie: - Data demands: Identify speaker on the topic of data in relation to AI factories together with Licia
Maria Isabel - Sustainability: Find out if we can get a JISC speaker or need to look elsewhere
Jani: - Digital Twins: Poll Vittorio Curri
ALL: - Panel: The Future of NRENs: I have deliberately left this session without any responsible or chair. To ensure some level of neutrality from the panelists I will suggest that we use a person who is not affiliated with a Nordic NREN as chair. SMI and I checked and since Sabine is combining for the conference, she would be a good suggestion. In addition to agreeing on the chair, we should decide who talks to the panelists and the moderators to set the scene. I will be happy to do it, but if anyone has a strong desire to volunteer, please step forward.
Cheers, Josva

Dear Josva,
I don't have any meeting invites in my calendar for today, although I have one for next Tuesday at 13:00 CEST. Maybe I deleted today's invite by mistake. In any case, I have another meeting today at 13:00 and at 14:00 CEST. So, I would not be able to join you anyway if it's during these time slots.
About sustainability, I'm in contact with Abdullah Qaban, Clare's replacement at JISC for their presentation (abdullah.qaban@jisc.ac.uk), in case he confirms he can make it. I'm waiting for his confirmation.
About the future of NRENs, Sabine is fine as a chair and I'm happy to talk to possible candidates to panellists, if needed.
Best regards,
Maria Isabel Gandia Carriedo

ALL: - Panel: The Future of NRENs: I have deliberately left this session without any responsible or chair. To ensure some level of neutrality from the panelists I will suggest that we use a person who is not affiliated with a Nordic NREN as chair. SMI and I checked and since Sabine is combining for the conference, she would be a good suggestion. In addition to agreeing on the chair, we should decide who talks to the panelists and the moderators to set the scene. I will be happy to do it, but if anyone has a strong desire to volunteer, please step forward.

I asked Peter S and he said he will come to the NDN conference so that is good. Petr H has been contacted but he has not reacted yet.
- Enabling Access: Clarify who will step in instead of Esther Makaay or if she will present herself
I contacted Esther and I’m awaiting for an answer. If she does not answer we need to find another option.
- Educational interop: Help Vegard identify speaker from a university alliance, preferably from Luleå
Vegards there is this alliance called UniversEH where Luleä uni is part of. i do no know people there, do you know somebody there? If you do not know anyone, cnn we contact Luleä university via the alliance form?
- Data demands: Identify speaker on the topic of data in relation to AI factories together with Anne Sofie
I’ll discuss with AnneS

Hi Josva, Vegards,
I have found two possible speakers for the session. One is: johpe12@liu.se Johan Peterson - he is apparently a good one to contact
The other person is Claes Asker claes.asker@kau.se is the contact person from a Swedish university appearing in your FOREU4ALL Identity Management documents. He's an active participant in the IDM subgroup sessions, contributing questions and insights in both the February and March 2026 deep-dive meetings.
@Vegards do you know them? Should we contact them?
Cheers, Licia

Dear Programme CommitteeI have been over the programme and double checked what I think is currently missing and created a list grouped by person.
- Licia has discovered that there is an EOSC federation meeting at the week of the conference and is investigating what that means to us.
- Listed as ALL. We should decide on who do what on the Panel: The future of NRENs. I am willing to take that task, but we should agree first.

There is indeed a clash, but Peter S will come to NDN conference.
- Enabling Access: Clarify who will step in instead of Esther Makaay or if she will present herself -
Contacted her twice no answers: I propose we leave the slot open and wait for the proposal submission.
- Educational interop: Help Vegard identify speaker from a university alliance, preferably from Luleå
@jonny you have the names of the two people at the university - please let me know if you would like me to contact them and CC you or if you would like to contact them.
- Data demands: Identify speaker on the topic of data in relation to AI factories together with Anne Sofie
Need to liaise with Anne Sofie
